Background

Hi, we’re a family run business who provides quality custom sawing, lumber and forest management services in central Maine who want environmentally harvested Lumber with minimal impact to the habitat on their land. Work performed on their property will improve forest management practices, produce firewood, lumber, and improve wildlife habitat with a low impact to the ecosystem in your backyard.

Maine Woodshop was founded to bridge the gap between commercial logging and arborists. We wanted to promote forestry best practices and keep enjoying our forest every day without a commercial logging operation changing our woods but wish to sustainable utilize our forest with low impact cutting that improved wildlife, avian life and provide timber products for you.

We started to ask around and apparently a lot of other people wanted this type of work done or require small lot clearing or tree removal for a nominal fee and ability to create custom personal timber products. Through our adventure we take small hardwood lumber orders and perform these services for our customers.
